Todas las novedades

It is extremely satisfying to take action and translate one’s ideas into a lucrative business. Entrepreneurship enables people to fashion careers that directly align with their values, like helping others or preserving the environment, and thus give them a mental and emotional sense of fulfillment that many other jobs cannot.

Entrepreneurship is a social phenomenon which involves complex interactions between humans and the social context within which they live, play, and learn. Therefore, it is often seen as an important area of research for the social sciences. It also is an interdisciplinary field that draws on the disciplines of sociology, management, law as well as anthropology, public policy check and management for non-profit organizations.

In this article, we map the research on entrepreneurship education for students who are not business-related and propose a synergetic framework to the current research based on four dimensions of social learning – observational learning, the role played by mentors and peers as well as the entrepreneurial ecosystem as a platform for social learning, and the role of institutions in influences on learning. We also discuss how this framework could be applied more consistently to guide future research and development in the field of entrepreneurship education. We also present a detailed study of bibliometrics supported by VOSviewer and Bibliometrix which highlight the most renowned authors, institutions and countries, seminar papers journals, themes, and seminars. This provides a complete and detailed understanding of the current situation in the field. The analysis also provides insight into potential future areas for research and the knowledge gaps that need to be filled.
